The SUNLOAD energy management system

When developing our Solar Power Banks, we focussed intensely on the efficient generation and use of energy. By this means we have created excellent product properties:

As soon as you switch on your Solar Power Bank, the SUNLOAD solar energy management system ensures optimum energy efficiency at a maximum level of comfort. It monitors the incoming and outgoing electrical current flows and, depending on the situation, ensures that energy is fed into or removed from the internal accumulator. If the connected solar panel does not supply enough energy, an energy-saving charging mode is automatically activated. The charging process is continued as soon as adequate power is available. The energy management system of the MODULAR series also recognises when connected devices no longer need power and automatically switches the respective output off after a short time. It is therefore easy to connect a solar panel and an external end device, which needs to be charged, to the Solar Power Bank at the same time. Then you don’t need to worry about anything anymore.

An electronic control system (MPP-Tracking) permanently monitors and optimises the conversion of sunlight to electric energy. This means that our customers can connect solar panels to our Solar Power Bank depending on their requirements (please read here for what you need to be aware of). The Solar Power Bank automatically adjusts to the individual properties of the solar panel.

We are particularly proud of the fact that we have been able to realize the internal control and switching process with a minimum of energy consumption. This means that the stored energy is mostly retained even if you switch off the device for a few days.

If you explicitly do not want to operate the Solar Power Bank in the normal fully-automatic condition, e.g. in planes or when stored for a longer period, you should switch it off completely. In this case, practically no more energy is used from the battery except for the low self-discharging of the accumulators.
